Church Assessment Link (CAT)
Our church has entered into a time of discernment during which we are gathering information to guide our decisions for our future. This assessment will provide a clearer picture of who we are as a church and what directions might be important for our future. Every voice is important!
We ask everyone in your household, 16 years and older, to complete the online assessment as soon as possible, and no later than Wednesday, March 18. Your response is very important to us.
All answers are strictly anonymous so please feel free to candidly share your perceptions, opinions and experiences at First Lutheran. The assessment will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Please set aside enough time to complete the survey all at one time because you cannot stop and continue later. Our future together is dependent on your participation and honest answers.
When you are ready, click here and begin.
If you have questions, please contact Melody Roberts, 339-1983 ext. 262, or Pastor Peter Strommen, 339-1983 ext. 242.
• I do not
have access to a computer, is there another way to take the CAT?
Of course! Two ways: There are a couple computers available during worship times on Sunday and a computer is available in the Youth & Family office during the week to complete the assessment. There are also paper copies available at the Welcome Center for those who prefer that option.
• If I take it on the computer can I save it and
come back to it later?
Sorry, no. You must complete it all at once.
• There are
several members in our family that qualify to take this (16 years and up),
should each take this assessment using the same link?
Yes, each survey is anonymous assuring that each person is represented individually. The same goes for people who share one email address. You should each complete the assessment.
• So who exactly sees the assessment results?
The assessment is sent to a third party (Survey Monkey) and is completely anonymous.
• How long will it take to do this?
The assessment will take about 20 minutes to complete.
• When does the CAT end?
The assessment closes Wednesday, March 18.
