flcw bazaar
Join hearts and hands in fellowship as we partner to share "Gifts of Grace" in mission support locally and around the world with our bazaar proceeds.
Mark these dates on your calendar:
September 30 through October 11 – Bazaar donations will be accepted and must be placed in the appropriate box near the atrium elevator. We welcome items of antiques/uniques, attic treasures (household items), clean and vintage good linens, books, yarn, unfinished crafts, Scandinavian items, clean toys, and NICE jewelry.
October 28 – Rosette day in Fellowship Hall. All newbies and experienced fryers and help are welcome. Choose a morning (8a to noon), afternoon (noon to 4p), or all-day shift. Helping hands are needed to fry, sugar, and package the rosettes. Setup and cleanup help is much appreciated. Contact Jean Colon, 605/261.8114, with rosette questions and to sign up.
November 1 – Our bake sale and Sweet Shoppe need your favorite cookies, bars, candies, breads, cakes, muffins, jams, jellies, salsa, soups, pickles, popcorn or nut/mix treats, LEFSE, and more to fill the tables and shelves on Bazaar day. Make your favorite recipes or try new ones. Bring your baked goods and candies to the Gathering Room on November 1.
Volunteers are needed in all shops and in the Kaffe Stua (ala carte smorgasbord) as well as greeters, parking attendants, and end of day movers.
Join the "Gifts of Grace" fellowship and prayerfully offer your time and talents to support this First Lutheran Church mission tradition.
